I just called Vala3 to see who won the game.  Yeah!   Gators.     Traffic around the store should start clearing out about 4:00 pm.   Vala3  and I decided to do dinner at the Greek place.  I'm parked in front of Jon's house, about 6 blocks from work and Florida Field but I was lucky to get that.  They parked their SUV on the street  and moved it so I could park  in that slot in the expensive zone.   I can't believe how much the little student entrepreneurs charge for in-yard parking.   I was such a dummy, when I rented across from campus I let people park for free.

Momcat is joining us for dinner.  She called me at three and wanted to know if I could do lunch, I couldn't I working till 6:30 I told her to get across town before the game traffic lets loose.  She'd forgotten about the game.   Vala3 is watching the Tennessee UCLA game right now, we play them next week so I will get a long report about them tonight at dinner.   She keeps up with all that stuff, I'm such a sorry-ass Gator Fan.

I've been busily creating SGA icons for Search and Rescue, I finished the Rising group, now the fun part begins---figuring how to post the things behind the cuts correctly.

With each batch I'm working my way deeper into the photoshop functions.   I want to start playing with some of the special effects filters, and try for some atmospheric effects.

I'm also finishing up a couple of involved posts to SGA Rewind.    I'm already two weeks behind in watching the episodes.   Today is the beginning of episode three--or 'Bug Week' as I'm calling it.

I'm going to make a few bug icons, and I was commiserating with Vala3 about the lack of artful tick illustrations in public domain.  She commented she was shocked by such an oversight,   You can never have enough tick, spider and crab graphics.

Tennessee lost. Now we will have to face them next week. Just hope their quaterback gets as rattled by the Gators and he did by the Bruins.
When you were talking about Search and Rescue...did you mean Hide and Seek? That was the episode after the two part pilot Rising.
Good luck on you 'bug hunt', I will forego that. You could always photograph one of Florida's Gigantic cockroaches and use it. They are hedious.
Enjoyed supper last night. Kind of felt bad for Rod. He was the guy that came over as I was leaving. Don't know if you or Momcat09 noticed him as you were commeserating over icons. He had Myers Toyota at one time but I think he has lost it. Wanted a ride but it was over to 13th. I knew him, just not well enouogh to give a relative stranger a ride at night.
Take care and see you soon.

I did mean 'Hide and Seek.' I'm just tired too many long hours trying to decipher HTML issues. I asked Momcat if she knew of any copyright free bug illustrations that could make interesting icons. This SCA-rewind icon project is my learning Photoshop course. It's actually an interesting way to learn the program, that is when I'm not screaming at it. Momcat's been very helpful, especially with methodology. She's been holding my hand through the meltdowns. The problems with using the manuals is that they can't quite dumb the information down enough to get to my level. It's the stupid easy stuff that continues to stop me in my tracks, no matter what computer system I'm working with there are always visual problems that written instructions can't communicate across. It's probably the dyslexia, but still this should be a lot easier!

I got my masthead posted (finally) last night. I though it would take maybe an hour--it took four hours. Let me know if you want me to make a banner for you with some of your artwork (I want to put my new found dubious banner-uploading skills to work again). We both need to get our scanners up and running and then 'look out' the old illo gals are back. I owe Ann Tara and Tzzzz some artwork, and getting that done is my next task.

Hummm... Tennessee next week, I have a feeling that going to be a nail-biter. And last but not least, you dog, thanks for dinner. By the time Momcat and I came up from our icon huddle, you had gotten away clean. Next time I pick up your dinner, I can be sneaky too.
