sporangiaI just called Vala3 to see who won the game. Yeah! Gators. Traffic around the store should start clearing out about 4:00 pm. Vala3 and I decided to do dinner at the Greek place. I'm parked in front of Jon's house, about 6 blocks from work and Florida Field but I was lucky to get that. They parked their SUV on the street and moved it so I could park in that slot in the expensive zone. I can't believe how much the little student entrepreneurs charge for in-yard parking. I was such a dummy, when I rented across from campus I let people park for free.
Momcat is joining us for dinner. She called me at three and wanted to know if I could do lunch, I couldn't I working till 6:30 I told her to get across town before the game traffic lets loose. She'd forgotten about the game. Vala3 is watching the Tennessee UCLA game right now, we play them next week so I will get a long report about them tonight at dinner. She keeps up with all that stuff, I'm such a sorry-ass Gator Fan.
I've been busily creating SGA icons for Search and Rescue, I finished the Rising group, now the fun part begins---figuring how to post the things behind the cuts correctly.
With each batch I'm working my way deeper into the photoshop functions. I want to start playing with some of the special effects filters, and try for some atmospheric effects.
I'm also finishing up a couple of involved posts to SGA Rewind. I'm already two weeks behind in watching the episodes. Today is the beginning of episode three--or 'Bug Week' as I'm calling it.
I'm going to make a few bug icons, and I was commiserating with Vala3 about the lack of artful tick illustrations in public domain. She commented she was shocked by such an oversight, You can never have enough tick, spider and crab graphics.
